Pumpkin Patch
Time to head into Autumn and to the pumpkin patch.
This charm bracelet was created to complement my Second Spring earrings. This is a one-of-a-kind creation.
Flying over Terrokar at sunset, heading to the Bone Wastes and Auchindoun to face uncounted enemies and evil in the crypts, our hero takes a moment of rare calm to savor the beauty of an Auchenai sunset before mayhem ensues.
The young adventurer walks The Northern Barrens, taking the first clumsy steps toward becoming an epic hero, and confronting the dangers that lurk everywhere. Prowling and patrolling through the high grass is the Hecklefang Hyena. Always in a fowl mood, ready to rip your throat out; often deadly if one catches you unaware. Only a hunter can tame these ferocious beasts, if they are fast enough!
The Giraffe is a gentle creature, wandering through the high grass of the Northern Barrens, bothering no one. You may be able to walk right up and pet this beast, but you can never tame her. She will forever roam the Barrens, master of her own fate.
I can’t believe I found tree of life charms on Etsy to match the tattoo I designed for my sister. These made an awesome earrings and pendant set for her birthday.
The Mage-run city of Dalaran is a beautiful city in the sky, with fountains, statues and lounges open to citizens of any faction. This bracelet is inspired by Dalaran. Everywhere you look is beauty, from the pink and grey cobblestone streets to the majestic spires and towers. Even the sewers of this city provide a fascinating brew called Underbelly Elixir, which can sometimes turn you into a wasp!
It is up to you, the hero, to quest forth and transform this area into a sparkling oasis in the midst of the hot, sandy deserts of Uldum. If you succeed, the Cradle of the Ancients provides shade, water and rest for the weary adventurer. These earrings are inspired by the oasis’ giant blue flowers; which grow taller that a Tauren!
The thick forests, rivers, and streams in Grizzly Hills are home to creatures of all kinds, from the tiny skunk to bears, stags, and even Wendigos. These earrings are inspired by the alpine vistas and deep green forests of the Grizzly Hills in Northrend.
Deceptively peaceful, this region is filled with primitive Ice Trolls, angry Mountain Giants and other pitfalls. A series of logging camps may seem like outposts of civilization until you get close enough to see that they are hotly contested areas, best avoided unless you have bloodshed on your mind. Oh well, maybe a tired adventurer can find a pint of ale at Silverpine instead?
Questing in the Throne of Flame, you’d pay an outrageous sum of gold for a single sip of Refreshing Spring Water. Surrounded by a lake of boiling lava The Throne of Flame in Mount Hyjal contains the Sulfuron Spire; home of the Elemantal Lord Ragnaros. Join with the Guardians of Hyjal in staving off Ragnaros’ assult on the World Tree and wear a bit of flame as you defy Deathwing.
Wisps pulsate, chime, and flutter around lampposts, giving off ethereal light. Sentries armed with equally impressive and artistic weapons prowl the streets. Darnassus, capital city of the Night Elves. The Temple Gardens are dominated by a lake with beautiful bridges spanning the waterways. The shops and buildings there are created out of living trees and the city is ruled by Archdruid Tyrande Whisperwind, who resides in the Temple of the Moon there. These earrings were inspired by the purples, pinks and greens of the trees that make up the city.
The horse was central to ancient life, used for transportation, the military and commerce. These earrings were inspired by Epona, the Celtic goddess of horses. She was worshiped throughout history in Germanic lands, Britain, and adopted by the early Roman Empire into their pantheon as well. She is the guardian of agriculture and transportation. Epona’s feast day is held on June 13th
